About RCDSRussian Committee of Deaf SportsWorld Deaf sport movement has old traditions - since 1924 are spent Summer and Winter Deaflympics, World Championships and European Championships in which the Russian deaf athletes repeatedly occupying prize-winning places at these prestigious competitions take part also since 1957.
Deaflympics, getting the increasing social and spiritually-moral importance, become, along with Olympic and Paralympic Games, the largest world sports forums.
Russian Committee of Deaf Sports (RCDS), formed in 2001, adequately represents Deaf sport of Russia in International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD-CISS), European Deaf Sport Organisation (EDSO), International Committee of Silent Chess (ICSC).
